We are looking for a commercial Elevator Mechanic who will be responsible for the service and repair of commercial elevators.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Servicing and repairing commercial and home elevators:
Able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical parts
Timely completion of assigned preventative maintenance
Daily closing of assigned tickets with accurate information.
Communication on elevator status with on-site personnel.
Understanding the use of PPE and all safety rules
Understanding of wiring diagrams

Elevator Mechanic Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Elevator Mechanic License preferred or willingness to get licensed
• Previous work experience as an elevator mechanic.
• Advanced knowledge of elevator systems, mechanical walkways, and escalators.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to travel and work after hours when required.
Must be able to pass a driving screen to be insured to drive a company vehicle.
Must also be able to pass a drug and background screen.
